Staycation Beauty and SkinCare Picks

If you’ve happen to see my Instagram stories or post , you might already know that I’d been to Lonavla with my Husband recently to celebrate our 3^rd year Wedding Anniversary. We did not plan to go to far because of COVID, but this vacay was much needed after 8 long months of sitting at home 😀 and here’s a list of beauty and skincare picks that I took along with me.

-SKINCARE-

Since Lonavla is a hill station it is aught to be cold most of the times, and since there was no onset of Winter yet in Mumbai , I had to pick my skincare products wisely. So I chose to take my The Body Shop Vitamin E Cleanser. It is moisturizing as well as hydrating at the same time and did not dry out my skin in the cold weather. I also picked up my Dermafique Advanced Hydration Moisturiser which arrived just in time before my Staycation and boy I am impressed to have added this to my skincare routine and took this along. The level of hydration this one provides is just incredible and the way makeup sits on my skin after a layer of it is just WOW!!!. I will be doing an entire post on Dermafique, So keep an eye out for same. 🙂

-MAKEUP-

I am a makeup hoarder, but since it was just wanted to chillax, I wanted to be makeup free most of the time and did not carry much stuff other than the usual’s.

For Foundation I took my trustee Loreal Paris Infalliable 24H Fresh Wear Foundation and it is my holy grail, I cannot trust any other foundation for dry weathers except this one. Next up was my Freedom Makeup Bronzer that I use for contouring.

Blushes are my favourite thing And I just need reasons to hoard them. I took my Mac Blush Baby which has a nice Mauve tone and also Colorbar’s Cheekillusion Blush in Sweet Scarlet that works really well if I want to have a nice flush of pink coral color on my cheeks.

For Lips I pack extra options and glad that I picked my SmashBox mini in Bawsee which is a deep red shade along with MAC Mehr which is my ultimate everyday favourite.

-EVERYTHING ELSE-

Body Sunscreens are a must for me when I am outdoors. I did not want to get tanned, as being at home for the longest time due to the pandemic made my skin tan-free and I wanted to maintain that. My current favourite is the Nivea Sunscreen Mist SPF 50 . It is non sticky and not at all greasy. I also took my Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl travel decant Perfume that I got from this Instagram Store theperfumeshop_india , they also have their website perfumeshopindia.in, and they have some really good ,100 % authentic and niche perfume ranges in full as well as travel decant sizes at affordable rates, Do check them out if you are interested.

I think minis are best option when travelling as they take up less space and you do not need to worry about your luggage getting heavier.
