As someone who’s always on the hunt for the perfect lip product, I was excited to give this one a try. Join me as I share my honest thoughts on Peripera Mood Matte Lipstick and why, despite the features, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
Peripera Mood Matte Lipstick boasts a soft, souffle-like texture that initially pulled me in. I got mines from Maccaron for around INR 600/- . The application was smooth and velvety, and I loved the matte finish it provided. However, after a few hours of wear, I noticed that the lipstick started to feel flaky and dry on my lips.
The shade 02 Pink Go Up is lovely and added a gorgeous pink pop of color to my lips. However, the flakiness became more pronounced as the day went on, leaving me constantly reaching for lip balm to combat the dryness. It’s frustrating when a lipstick doesn’t live up to its long-lasting claims.
It has the inclusion of nourishing ingredients like Agave Leaf Extract and Sacha Inchi Oil, but I am really surprised, why I felt the flakiness in a few hours of application. May be I need to moisturize my lips more, when I use this lipstick. But let me tell you, this shade 02 is just amazing, it reminds me of NYX SMLC Cannes.
Peripera Mood Matte Lipstick in shade 02 Pink Go Up has its pros and cons. While I appreciated its soft souffle-like texture and natural color payoff, the flakiness and dryness I experienced were disappointing. It’s a shame because I really wanted to love this lipstick, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. If you have particularly dry lips like mine, you may want to proceed with caution when trying out this product.
