Hello Beautiful People,
I am kind of back after a long pause. Moving countries, changing jobs its been a lot, But nevertheless I am back with a review today and its going to be a sunscreen this time..Yayyy !!! First ever sunscreen review on my blog definitely not the last 😛
So, I saw this sunscreen on Instagram through @urshayness story where she had mentioned she quite like this sunscreen. Pretty packaging and my purchases go hand in hand (LOL) so I surely had to get my hands on this one.
Packaging :
So Try Moody , is a Paraben and Cruelty Free Vegan Indian Brand. I read somewhere that the packaging is copied from a brand called HaruHaru, and then I googled to find and to my surprise it definitely was. Nonetheless, Haru Haru’s packaging looks quite classy and this one is kinda cute in my opinion. Moody’s Hydo Burst Water Sunscreen comes in light blue colored packaging , its quite sturdy and has 50ml of product, retails for Rs.600/-
Ingredients:
Aqua, Octyl methoxy cinnamate, Octocrylene, Butyl methoxy di benzoyl methane Glycerine, Propanediole, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract , Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, Aloe barbadensis(Aloevera) leaf juice, Panthenol, Tocopheryl acetate, Xanthan gum, Sorbitol, Titanium di oxide, Polyacrylate-13, Poly iso butene, Cetearyl alcohol, alcohol, alkylglucoside ,Ceteareth- hydrogenated castor oil, Sodium gluconate, Ethylhexylglycerin,Phenoxyethanol
As you can see above it has a lot of filters along with Hyaluronic acid,Coconut Extracts and Aloe leaf juice. It’s a SPF 50 PA +++ , targets UVA/UVB, Photoageing, Blue light damage and Sun Tan.
Texture :
I found the texture quite nice, not too runny or watery but just perfect. Very light weight, absorbs quickly into the skin and greatly hydrating. Its not sticky and does not give any white cast. It does have some fragrance which I do not mind, as for me its not overpowering and fades quickly. For some people fragrance can be an issue , so you can watch out for the same.
Review :
I got this on Amazon, for around Rs. 450/- and I have been using it almost everyday since a month. I definitely love using this variant. Moody also has Vit C variant which I have not tried. This sits well under my makeup, giving my skin an extra layer of hydration along with sun protection. It needs to be reapplied every 2 hours. The left picture above shows the blended sunscreen and the right shows absorbed.
The only thing I didn’t like is the quantity, I was expecting atleast 100ml of product but its just 50ml. And since I have purchased this while I was in India for a short trip and now writing this review in Germany, If it gets over I will need to wait till my next visit to India 😛 , unless the brand sends it to me as part of their PR :D.
Overall, I loved the sunscreen and will definitely repurchase.
