MAYBELLINE MASTER CHROME METALLIC HIGHLIGHTER “MOLTEN GOLD” – REVIEW, SWATCHES AND LOOK

I am always late in reviewing the products, that I’ve been using or those that have been used and reviewed all over social media. But some reviews are better late than never posted 😉

So Today, I’ll be talking about Maybelline’s Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in the shade Molten Gold.

Coming straight on to the review, The packaging is pretty decent with a clear cap to be able to peek at the product on the inside, with a squared geometric print .

I really don’t remember from where I purchased this , It would either be from Beauty Center Store or online from Amazon, definitely on Sale 😉 (Drugstore and on sale….YAAAASSSSS!!! ) Although it retails around INR 550/-

There was already a lot of hype for this highlighter and hence I wanted to try my hands on same.

The texture is smooth, buttery and easily blend-able.

As the shade name goes Molten Gold, it actually seems like melted gold with a creamy texture in a pan 🙂

Its highly pigmented and gives you an opaque finish instantly. There are shimmers in there which are not at all chunky and I don’t think they would accentuate pores if any.

I mostly choose to go with a light hand stroke for a subtle everyday sun-kissed look and heavy handed for party looks.

Apart from applying it on the cheekbones, chin or cupid’s bow, If I am not applying any eyeshadow, I just use a matte eyeliner and put this highlighter on the inner corner of my eye, to have the eye look stand out and look brighter 😉

I created a subtle party look using this highlighter and I love how it turned out.
