Today I am back with another review , that is a savior for all the dry skin beauties including myself before applying makeup, Yes, you got it correct, its a Primer.
Prepping the skin before applying makeup is a must have. Unless your skin is well prepped your makeup won’t sit comfortably on your skin.
Primer plays an important role as the base of our makeup and for dry skin beauties like us a dewy primer is a cherry on top.
Maybelline has 2 variants in this range one is a Matter primer and other is Smooth & Dewy.
The product retails for Rs.599 for 30 ml and most of the times its on discount on many websites and even in stores.
It comes in a plastic black colored tube and you need to press the tube for the product to dispense out. I like the packaging as its slim and travel friendly .
The main ingredients are Water, glycerin, apricot kernel oil, rice bran oil, stearic acid, shea butter, propanediol, beeswax, vitamin E, which are really great hydrators and help in giving that smooth & dewy finish .
This is my 3rd tube and I have already emptied 2 😀 . This primer has been an ultimate find for me . It glides smoothly, smells fresh and gives my skin a nice dewy sheen. My makeup sits really well on top of this primer and does not feel cakey. Sometimes my makeup tends to get cakey near the laugh lines and undereyes. But when I use this as my base , there are less complains as its very light weight on the skin and doesn’t feel greasy. Oily skinned beauties might tend to run away as it tends to add extra shine on the face.
All in all its a go-to product in my vanity.
