L’Oreal Paris Glycolic Bright Day Cream – Review

I am obsessed with anything Glycolic acid & Niacinamide. Who doesn’t want a clear, no dark spots skin.

I was excited to see Loreal come up with this range and without much hesitation , I ordered this day cream.

The Loreal Paris Glycolic Bright Day cream comes in a glass tub, and the cream is very light baby pink. The texture is smooth, not very thick or sticky.

It comes in 2 sizes, 15 ml and 50 ml and retails for Rs.349 and 699 /- respectively. I own the 15ml , as initially I just wanted to see if it really works and does the job of what it claims.

Loreal Glycolic acid & Niacinamide Day Cream Review

It has a strong fragrance, similar to that of Pond’s winter care creams. Since its a day cream, it has an SPF of 17 which I think is an add on , because with actives you need to be consistent with your SPF. But that does not mean you can skip your SPF. I definitely pair it with my SPF 40 or above sunscreens.

I am really impressed with this product, It really does what it claims. Although I just use this product from the entire range of products but I am thinking of buying some of their other products too.

The product does not feel greasy, gives my skin a beaming effect from the first use itself and it has helped to reduce my dark spots to some extents. My skin feels bright, smooth and even after application. I do not use this under makeup , just when I am indoors or out without makeup is when I like to apply this cream. But it claims to sit sit well under makeup too.

Except for the price point and the fragrance, I did not find any cons for this product.

What are your thoughts on L’Oreal’s Glycolic Bright range?
